Legacy of Fire: 30 Years of Kittie

Canadian metal band Kittie head out on tour across North America this year, in celebration of their 30th anniversary as a band! The Legacy of Fire tour is also the first time in a decade that the band has undertaken a headline tour, and comes fresh off the back of their Juno Award-nominated comeback album Fire in 2024. Formed in 1996 in London, Ontario, Kittie initially took influence from the grunge bands of the 90s such as Nirvana and Silverchair, but across their seven albums undertook constant evolution, morphing towards nu-metal, then eventually extreme metal. Cited as one of, if not the most important all-female metal band of all time, their influence has extended beyond metal, with a new generation of stars across the musical spectrum including Princess Nokia, Caroline Polachek and Demi Lovato citing them as an inspiration.
